We have a league-standard bowling green and facilites suited for bowlers and spectators.

The club has numerous teams -  mens, ladies,  mixed, junior & veterans, that play in various local leagues, knockouts and other events.

Bowling season normally starts April through to October, with matches held during the day  and evening (click above for further details).

We are always looking for new bowlers so why not come down and have a go?  Practice sessions are held every Friday at 4pm and all are welcome regardless of ability - beginner or a seasoned veteran!

Bowling subscriptions are £10 per year and are in addition to the GCL clubs' normal membership fees.

We have outdoor facilities to provide hot and cold refreshments which are available during most events.

We have a 8 ball pool table available during club opening hours and when not reserved for league matches.

We have two teams playing in the Slaithwaite & Marsden winter pool league and also in one of the oldest pool leagues in the country, the Huddersfield Tuesday league.

Although we are happy for our table to be used by members & guests we do ask that any budding Ronnie O'Sulivans under the age of 14 be accompanied by an adult!

We have two men's teams in the Golcar Dominoes League with matches being played in the months of October through to April, most Thursday evenings from 8:30pm.

Pointless?  For zeroes!

Come to the Lib and test those little grey cells for a chance to win a gallon (or... 4.55 litres!) of ale and show everyone just how smart you are!
